Diran Adebayo

Diran Adebayo will read from his new novel, The Ballad of Dizzy and Miss P, and take questions from the audience.

Diran has been hailed as one of the most original literary talents around. His first novel, Some Kind of Black, broke new ground for the London novel, was longlisted for the Booker Prize and won him the Saga Prize, a Betty Trask Award, the Authors’ Club’s Best First Novel Award and the Writers Guild’s New Writer of the Year award.

His second novel, My Once Upon a Time, received more rave reviews. He is also a columnist and broadcaster.
